History

Pelletier & Son Finishing and Antique Restoration was established in 1950 by my father, Thomas Pelletier, who garnered an impeccable reputation in the community for his skill, quality of work and fair pricing. Trained by my dad and joining the business in the 1970's, the expertise carries on with myself, Louis Pelletier, and Artisan Greg Smith who has been with the company for 20 years.  To this day it  remains a well known fixture serving the North Shore and beyond.

Revitalization/restoration of well seasoned furniture or finishing of the new is the heart of the business.

Whether it is fine quality furniture, flea market find, valuable antique or new piece, all work is done by hand and customized with attention to detail. Restoration of wood products to their original beauty and condition is never a wasted endeavor. The restored integrity to furniture that has lapsed into disrepair regains if not increases its original value.

Finishes

Satin, matte or gloss, along with precise color matching of wood grain or paint are among the finish choices. From environmentally sound water based finishes to oil finishes, shellacs or paints, each piece is completed as required or requested.

"I have used the services of Pelletier and Sons for over 10 years.  He has taken items that I have found in flea markets and turned them into beautiful pieces of family treasures.  The work is professional, restored to original form and for prices that are below any other finisher."   Mary Usovicz
